This paper is the third in a series of papers concerning polynomial operator matrices \({\mathcal A}=(p_{ij}(A))\), where \(p_{ij}\) are polynomials and A is a fixed densely defined linear operator on a Banach space E. The author studied the well-posedness of systems of linear evolution equations \[ \dot u(t)={\mathcal A}u(t),\quad u(0)=u_ 0, \] where u is a function with values in a product Banach space \({\mathcal E}:=E^ n\), i.e. the author characterized those polynomial operator matrices generating a strongly continuous semigroup on \({\mathcal E}\).
