The paper contains various characterizations of analytic Besov spaces \(B_ p\) (1\(\leq p\leq \infty)\) in the unit disc \({\mathbb{D}}.\) Let \(d\lambda (z)=(1-| z|^ 2)^{-2}dA(z)\) be the Möbius invariant measure on \({\mathbb{D}}\) (here dA is the normalized Lebesgue measure on \({\mathbb{D}})\). The following theorem is a sample of one of the main results of the paper. Theorem. Suppose \(1\leq p\leq \infty\), P is the Bergman projection on \({\mathbb{D}}\) and f is analytic in \({\mathbb{D}}\), then the following are equivalent (i) \(f\in B_ p,\) (ii) \(f\in PL^ p({\mathbb{D}},d\lambda),\) (iii) \((1-| z|^ 2)^ mf^{(m)}(z)\in L^ p({\mathbb{D}},d\lambda).\) Moreover, if \(1<p<\infty\), then (iv) \(\iint [| f(z)-f(w)|^ p/| 1-z\bar w|^ 4]dA(z)dA(w)<\infty.\) The results of the paper were known earlier for the case \(p=\infty\).
