    Under ad-hoc conditions concerning the entries of the matrix A(t), a solution \(y=(y^ 1,...,y^ n)\) to \(y'(t)=A(t)y(t-h)\) and function f, the method of Wazewski, as extended in [\textit{K. P. Rybakowski}, J. Differ. Equations 36, 117-138 (1980; Zbl 0407.34056)] is used to obtain existence of a solution \(x=(x^ 1,...,x^ n)\) to \(x'(t)=A(t)x(t- h)+f(t,x_ t),\) such that \(| x^ i(t)-y^ i(t)| <\delta_ i(y^ i(t))^{p_ i},\) \(i=1,...,n\).
