Applications of Hilbert's projective metric to a class of positive nonlinear operators (Q817649): Difference between revisions

Eigenvalue problems for a class of nonlinear positive operators are studied by using projective metric techniques allowing to apply Banach's fixed point theorem. In this way existence, uniqueness and continuity results are proved. Applications to some nonlinear systems of equations and matrix equations are also given.
