For a real linear space \(X\), let \(S:X\to L^0\) be a sublinear operator such that \(Sx\geq 0\) for each \(x\in X\) and \(Sx=0\) exactly when \(x=0\). Then, if \(E\) is a Köthe space, let \({\mathcal{D}}_E(S) = \{x\in X: Sx\in E\}\). For specific choices of \(X\), \(S\), and \(E\), \({\mathcal{D}}_E(S)\) could represent Köthe--Bochner spaces, Cesàro--Orlicz sequence spaces, or certain \(K\)-interpolation spaces. The authors characterize a variety of rotundity conditions for the space \({\mathcal{D}}_E(S)\). For example, the authors characterize when \({\mathcal{D}}_E(S)\) is rotund, locally uniformly rotund, midpoint locally uniformly rotund, and other rotundity conditions. More locally, the authors provide characterizations of the extreme points, LUR-points, strongly extreme points, and other types of extremal points; for a corrigendum of this work see ibid. 67, No. 7 (A), 2208-2216 (2007; Zbl 1120.46007)
