Summary: We consider the \(p\)-Laplacian operator on a domain equipped with a Finsler metric. We recall relevant properties of its first eigenfunction for finite \(p\) and investigate the limit problem as \(p\to\infty\). This is an extension of the result of [\textit{P. Juutinen, P. Lindqvist} and \textit{J. J. Manfredi}, Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal. 148, No. 2, 89--105 (1999; Zbl 0947.35104)].
