The aim of the authors is to identify the extremal polynomials \(p\) of degree at most \(n\) for several sharpenings of Bernstein's inequality \(\| p'\| _D\leq n \| p\| _D\) on the unit disc \(D\), obtained by Frappier, Rahman and Ruscheweyh in the 80's. An example is \[ | zp'(z)-p(z)+p(0)| + | p(0)| \leq (n-1)\| p\| _D \] when \( n\geq 2\). The conclusion is that equality holds for some \(z\) only if \(p\) is the zero polynomial or a monomial of degree \(n\).
