It is proved that the \((C,\alpha)\) means of the cubical partial sums of a \(d\)-dimensional Walsh-Fourier series is of weak type \((1,1)\). From this it follows that the \((C,\alpha)\) means of a function \(f \in L_1\) converge to \(f\) a.e. The analogous results for \(\alpha=1\) were proved by the reviewer [\textit{F. Weisz}, Approximation Theory Appl. 17, No. 2, 32--44 (2001; Zbl 0992.42013)].
