In previous works \textit{C. Li} and \textit{J. H. Wang} [IMA J. Numer. Anal. 26, No. 2, 228--251 (2006; Zbl 1094.65052)] the notion of the \(\gamma\)-condition for vector fields \(X\) on Riemannian manifolds was introduced and the \(\gamma\)-theory, \(\alpha\)-theory of the Newton method for finding singular points of vector fields on Riemannian manifolds satisfying the \(\gamma\)-condition were developed as the generalization of the known results of Smale. The aim of the reviewed article is to study the uniqueness problem of the singular points of vector fields on Riemannian manifolds under the assumption of \(\gamma\)-condition. The estimates of the uniqueness balls radii of the singular points of vector fields improving the previous ones \textit{X.-H. Wang} and \textit{D. F. Han} [Chin. J. Numer. Appl. Math. 19, No. 2, 96--105 (1997; Zbl 0928.65067)] are established. Applications to analytic vector fields are given.
