The paper considers numerical methods for deriving multifractal dimensions for a certain doubly-thermosstatted harmonic oscillator. The experimental data (obtained by the authors) seem to suggest that the Kaplan-Yorke conjecture (for the information dimension) fails in the full four-dimensional phase space. This seems to suggest that there might be no coherent extension of this conjecture to the `projected' fractal dimensions of the oscillator.
