    Let the complex-valued sequence \(\left\{ \omega _{n}\right\} _{n=1}^{\infty } \) of the form \(\omega _{n}=a_{n}+ib_{n}\) with \(b_{n}\geq 0.\) Suppose there exists a positive integer \(\widetilde{p,}\) a real number \(r>1\) and a positive constant \(\gamma \) such that for \(k,n\geq \widetilde{p},\) \( \left| a_{n}-a_{k}\right| \geq \gamma \max (1,b_{n})\left| n^{r}-k^{r}\right| .\) The author proves the following Ingham-type inequalities: for a \(T>0\) there exist \( C_{1},C_{2}>0\) and an integer \(p\geq \widetilde{p}\) such that for all sequences \(\left\{ x_{n}\right\} \) with \(\sum_{n=1}^{\infty } {| x_{n}| ^{2}}/{(1+b_{n})}<\infty ,\) the following inequalities hold: \[ C_{2}\sum_{n=p}^{\infty }\frac{\left| x_{n}\right| ^{2}}{1+b_{n}} \geq \int_{0}^{T}\left| \sum_{n=p}^{\infty }x_{n}e^{i\omega _{n}t}\right| ^{2}dt\geq C_{1}\sum_{n=p}^{\infty }\frac{\left| x_{n}\right| ^{2}}{1+b_{n}}. \] Some applications to null-controllability problems are also given.
