Let \(M\) be a maximal subgroup of a group \(G\) and \(K/L\) be a chief factor such that \(L\leq M\), \(K\nsubseteq M\). Then \((M\cap K)/L\) is called a c-section of \(M\). The abstract group isomorphic to a c-section of \(M\) is denoted by \(\text{Sec}(M)\). The main result of the paper under review is: Let \(G\) be a finite group. For every minimal subgroup \(M\) of \(G\), suppose \(\text{Sec}(M)\) is supersolvable. Then any composition factor of \(G\) is isomorphic to \(L_2(p)\) or \(\mathbb{Z}_q\), where \(p\) and \(q\) are primes and \(p\equiv\pm 1\pmod 8\).
