Let \(C_{a}\) be the cyclic group of order \(a\), and let \(C_{a}\wr S_{n}\) be its wreath product with the symmetric group \(S_{n}\), which comprises indexed permutations or colored permutations. In a recent paper [Statistics on wreath products and generalized binomial Stirling numbers, Isr. J. Math. 151, 189--221 (2006)], A. Regev and Y. Roichman introduced the order \(< _{L}\) and the \(C_{a}\wr S_{n}\) statistics \( \text{des}_{L}\) (the \(L\)-descent number) and the number of \(L\)-colored right-to-left minima and studied its distribution. In this paper the \(\text{rmaj}_{L,n}\) (\(L\)-reverse major index) statistic on \(C_{a}\wr S_{n}\) is defined and the distribution of \(\text{des}_{L}\) and the bistatistic (\(\text{des}_{L}\), \(\text{rmaj}_{L,n}\)) are studied, yielding new wreath-products analogues of the Eulerian and \(q\)-Euler-Mahonian polynomials, and a generalization of Carlitz's identity. Finally, a recurrence formula and an exponential generating function for these wreath-products analogues of the Eulerian polynomials are given.
