On even surfaces of general type with \(K^2=8\), \(p_g=4\), \(q=0\) (Q861972): Difference between revisions

The paper under review completely describes the moduli space of regular surfaces of general type with \(K^2=8\), \(p_g=4\) canonical class divisible by 2 and free from base points. It turns out that the canonical model is a codimension 2 complete intersection in a weighted projective space. The result is obtained by a careful study of the canonical ring.
