The paper deals with the delay system \[ \begin{aligned} x'_i(t)=\alpha_i(x_i(t))\left( -a_i(t,x_i(t)) +\sum_{j=1}^p w_{ji}(t) \int_0^\infty K_{ji}(u) f_j(t,\lambda_j y_j(t-u))\,du+I_i(t) \right),\\ \quad i=1,\dots,n,\end{aligned} \] \[ \begin{aligned} y'_j(t)=\beta_j(y_j(t))\left( -b_j(t,y_j(t)) +\sum_{i=1}^n v_{ij}(t) \int_0^\infty L_{ij}(u) g_i(t,\mu_i x_i(t-u))\,du+J_j(t) \right),\\ \quad j=1,\dots,p,\end{aligned} \] whose coefficients \(a_i\) and \(b_j\) are periodic with respect to their first argument. This system is a bi-directional Cohen-Grossberg neural network model with distributed delay. The paper proposes sufficient conditions for the global exponential stability of the periodic solutions obtained by means of Lyapunov functional method and some analytic techniques.
