Following the thesis by \textit{G. Brosch} [Uniqueness theorems for meromorphic functions (German). Aachen: RWTH Aachen, Math.-Naturwiss. Fak., Diss. (1989; Zbl 0694.30027)] a theorem of the following character is proven: If two meromorphic functions \(f\) and \(g\) share the values \(\{0,1,\infty\}\) with convenient weight (multiplicity) and if for two other different values \(a\) and \(b\) \(f-a\) and \(g-b\) share the value 0 without multiplicity, then \(f\) and \(g\) are simple expressions in a third entire function.
