The present work continues the study of parabolic equations in [Potential Anal. 26, No. 4, 345--361 (2007; Zbl 1160.35424)]. The author investigates the unique solvability to second order parabolic equations in non-divergence form \[ u_t+a^jk(t,x)u_{x^jx^k} +b^j(t,x)u_{x^j} +c(t,x)u=f \] in Sobolev spaces \(W^{1,2}_p((0,T)\times {\mathbb R}^d)\) with \(p> 2.\) The leading coefficients (except one of them) are measurable in both time and one spatial variables, and VMO (vanishing mean oscillation) with respect to the remaining variables.
