The author presents some set-theoretic results for the condition of \textit{H.\,Bauschke} [J.~Math.\ Anal.\ Appl.\ 202, 150--159 (1996; Zbl 0956.47024)]. In the case of nonexpansive mappings on a Banach space, a sufficient condition for Bauschke's condition is given.
