Consider a fuzzy differential equation with piecewise constant argument of the form \[ x'= p x(t) + q([t]),\quad t \in[0,\infty),\tag{1} \] where \(p,q\) are constant real numbers, the initial value \(x(0)=c_0\) is a fuzzy number and \([t]\) is the greater integer function. An equation of this form describes hybrid dynamical systems (a combination of continuous and discrete systems). In this paper the authors study the existence and the uniqueness of a solution to (1). Moreover they prove that every nontrivial solution of (1) is bounded. It is important to mention that under some conditions on the parameters \(p,q\) the solution \(x=0\) of the corresponding crisp differential equation of the form (1) is asymptotically stable. Therefore, the behavior of the solutions of the corresponding crisp equation(1) and the fuzzy equation (1) is not the same. Finally some examples and figures concerning the fuzzy solutions are given. It would be interesting to investigate the fuzzy differential equation with piecewise constant argument of the form (1), where \(p,q\) are fuzzy numbers.
