It is shown that the magnetic soliton and elastic soliton are admitted for spinor Bose-Einstein condensates in a one-dimensional optical lattice. An equation of nonlinear Schrödinger type is derived and exact magnetic solutions are obtained analytically by means of the Hirota method. The results show that the critical external field is needed for creating the magnetic soliton in spinor BEC. Analysis reveals that the elastic collision occurs and there is a phase change during collision.
