The paper deals with two re-integration algorithms for transient heat conduction and thermoelasticity BEM analyses. In both the ``full convolution'' is simplified by ``fast convolution'', and the balance principles for mass, momentum and energy are satisfied at any time. It is demonstrated that the results are insensitive to the time step size for any given mesh as long as the energy balance is maintained. The accuracy and efficiency of the developed algorithms are demonstrated via numerical examples.
