Singular integral operators for an unlimited contour (Q2384459): Difference between revisions

The authors prove the existence of an isomorphism between an algebra of singular integral operators with piecewise continuous coefficients and an algebra of singular integral operators with Cauchy kernel. This isomorphism leads to an index theory and a Fredholm theory on the algebra studied by the authors.
