The theory of real reductive dual pairs in the sense of Roger Howe is approached by means of the classical Lie supergroups. A special attention is paid to the semisimple orbits, the slices through semisimple elements, the Cartan subalgebras with the corresponding Weyl groups, and the Weyl integration formulas. The proofs of the main statements rely on elementary linear algebra reasonings.
