The authors deal with existence and study the long time behaviour of \[ \begin{aligned} u_t- \operatorname{div}\nabla W(\nabla u)- f(x)= 0 &\quad\text{in }\Omega\times (0,\infty),\\ \nabla W(\nabla u)\cdot\vec n|_{\partial\Omega\times (0,\infty)}= 0 &\quad\text{on }\partial\Omega,\\ u(x,0)= u_0(x) &\quad\text{in }\Omega, \end{aligned} \] where \(W\) is a specialy given quasiconvex double-well function and \(f\in L^2(\Omega)\). The distinct feature of this paper is that a potential energy under consideration is specifically given, with clear double-well structure and is not necessarily strongly quasimonotone. The authors can obtain the existence of strong solution that has long time convergence properties. They believe that this is the first result of its kind.
