The purpose of the paper is to discuss the existence of analytic solutions of a deviating argument differential equation, where the deviating argument depends on the state derivative. First the authors seek explicit analytic solutions in the form of power functions for particular cases of the equation. This idea does not work for the general case. They use the Schroeder transformation to overcome the difficulties.
