    First the author derives sufficient conditions for the zero solution of the linear equation \[ {dx\over dt}=- a(t) x(t)- b(t) x(t-\tau) \] to be a global attractor. Then she considers the delay logistic equations \[ {dx\over dt}= (1+ x(t))(-\alpha(t) x(t)- \beta(t) x(t-\tau)), \] \[ {dx\over dt} =-r(t)(1+ x(t)) (cx(t)+ x(t-\tau)) \] and gives conditions that the zero solution is globally attractive.
