Let \(f\) and \(g\) be meromorphic functions and let \(k\) be a nonnegative integer or infinity. For \(a\in\mathbb{C}\cup\{\infty\}\), the authors denote by \(E_k(a; f)\) the set of all \(a\)-points of where an \(a\)-point of multiplicity \(m\) is counted \(m\) times if \(m\leq k\) and \(k+ 1\) times if \(m> k\). If \(E_k(a; f)= E_k(a; g)\), they say that \(f\) and \(g\) share the value a with weight \(k\). By means of the idea of weighted sharing, the authors consider uniqueness problems concerning two meromorphic functions sharing three values. The authors use the symbol \((a, k)\) to express the situation of value sharing, namely, they wrote \(f\) and \(g\) share \((a, k)\) to mean that \(f\) and \(g\) share the value \(a\) with weight \(k\). They obtain the following result. Let \(f\) and \(g\) be meromorphic functions sharing \((a_1,1)\), \((a_2, m)\), \((a_3, k)\), where \(\{a_1,a_2,a_3\}= \{0,1,\infty\}\) and \((m- 1) (mk- 1)> (1+ m)^2\). Further \(\overline E_{2}(a,f)\subset\overline E(b,g)\) for two complex numbers \(a,b\not\in\{0,1,\infty\}\). Then \(f\) and \(g\) assume the one of the 18 forms. The reviewer omits to write all of 18 forms here. This result is an improvement of the result in [\textit{T. C. Alzahary}, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 323, No. 1, 8--25 (2006; Zbl 1102.30021)].
