The authors illustrate the use of the method of grey prediction to measure the thermal conductivity. The details are elaborated and it utilizes the methods of rolling grey prediction and comparison of temperature measurement to decrease the errors. Subsequently it utilizes inverse method to estimate the thermal conductivity. The evaluations have been done in four different cases, where the thermal conductivity is a nonlinear function. The estimated values show a reasonable agreement with actual values.
