We consider the following subgroups of a finite soluble group \(G\): the \(\mathcal F\)-normaliser \(D\) associated with a saturated formation \(\mathcal F\) and a Hall system \(\Sigma\) of \(G\), the \(\mathcal X\)-prefrattini subgroup \(W\) associated with a \(w\)-solid set of maximal subgroups \(\mathcal X\) such that \(\Sigma\) reduces into each element of \(\mathcal X\) and an arbitrary hypercentrally embedded subgroup \(T\) of \(G\), that is, a subgroup \(T\) such that \(T^G/T_G\) is contained in the hypercentre of \(G/T_G\). The authors prove the nice, interesting and non-trivial result that the lattice generated by \(D\), \(W\) and \(T\) is a distributive lattice of pairwise permutable subgroups with the cover and avoidance property. This is a major advance in the knowledge of the relationship between normalisers and prefrattini subgroups associated to Hall systems and saturated formations.
