The authors consider the neutral system of differential equations with time-varying input delay of the form \[ \begin{aligned} \dot x(t)-C\dot x(t-d)&=(A+\Delta A(t))x(t)+(B+\Delta B(t))x(t-\tau(t)),\\ x(t_0+\theta)&=\varphi(\theta), \quad \theta\in[-h,0], \end{aligned} \tag{1} \] where \(x(t)\in\mathbb R^n\) is a state vector; \(0\leq d\leq h\) is a constant; \(0\leq \tau(t)\leq h\) is a time-varying discrete delay; \(\varphi(\cdot)\) is the initial function; \(A,B,C\in\mathbb R^{n\times n}\) are constant matrices; \(\Delta A(t), \Delta B(t)\) are uncertain matrices. Based on Lyapunov functional approach and the linear matrix inequality technology, stability criteria are given. Numerical examples show the influence of uncertainties to the stability of the neutral system.
