A blending surface is a transition surface between two or more boundaries of the given surfaces. The blending surfaces are very important in computer aided geometric design because they allow connection of the given surfaces smoothly without undesirable sharp edges or corners. The smooth blending surfaces which are suggested in this paper approximate the data containing the interpolation point set and a boundary value problem. Elliptic partial differential equations (PDE) are used to construct parametric discrete interpolation PDE splines by which the blending surfaces are generated. In the paper, the convergence results of the parametric discrete interpolation PDE splines are presented and numerical and graphical examples are given, too.
