    Let \(A\) and \(B\) be two selfadjoint operators in a Hilbert space \(H\), \(A\geq 0\), \(B\geq -c_B\), \(c_B> 0\) and \(D:= e^{-\beta}- e^{-A}\). Suppose that \(D\in S_p\) (the Schatten-classes). The results are the following: 1. If \(p= 1\), then for every \(\gamma\geq 1\) the following estimate holds: \[ \sum_{\lambda\in\sigma(B)\cap (-\infty, 0)} |\lambda|^\gamma\leq c_1(\gamma)\| D\|_{S_1},\quad c_1(\gamma):= \gamma(\gamma- 1)^{\gamma-1} e^{1-\gamma}. \] In particular, if \(\gamma= 1\), \(c_1= 1\) and the estimate is sharp. 2. If \(0< p< 1\), then for every \(\gamma>p\) the following estimate holds: \[ \sum_{\lambda\in\sigma(B)\cap (-\infty,0)}|\lambda|^\gamma\leq 2 c^{\gamma-p}_B{\gamma\over\gamma- p}\| D\|^p_{S_p}. \] The proofs use the theory of Krein's spectral shift function.
