The author employs the results of \textit{J. Jost} and \textit{X. W. Peng} [Math. Ann. 293, 595--621 (1992; Zbl 0772.53011)] to obtain estimates for the sectional curvature of hyperkähler quotients. This applied to the moduli spaces of solutions of Nahm's equations and Hitchen's equations. A simple criterion for a hyperkähler quotient of a finite-dimensional vector space to have asymptotically null curvature is also given. Contents include: Infinite-dimensional hyperkähler quotients; Curvature estimates; Finite-dimensional quotients; Moduli spaces of solutions to Nahm's equations; Moduli spaces of solutions to Hitchin's equations.
