The author studies the set of homogeneous algebraic polynomials in \(n\) variables of least deviation from zero in the space of continuous functions defined on the ball from \(\mathbb R^n, n\geq 2\). He estimates its width and dimension. In the author's opinion, the upper bounds obtained for dimension are rough.
