This is a contribution to Nevanlinna theory (also known as ``Value Distribution Theory''). In [Am. J. Math. 126, No. 1, 215--226 (2004; Zbl 1044.32009)], \textit{M. Ru} proved a weak ``Second Main Theorem'' for algebraically non-degenerate holomorphic curves \(f:{\mathbb C}\to {\mathbb P}_n{\mathbb C}\) with respect to an arbitrary divisor \(D\). Chen and Yan improve this result to include truncation. They show that given for every \(\epsilon>0\) there exists a natural number \(M\) such that Ru's result holds with truncation level \(M\).
