Mathematics in the \textit{Memoirs} of the Lisbon Academy of Sciences in the 19th century (Q957596): Difference between revisions

The journal which the title mentions was for approximately two third of the 19th century the only Portugese journal publishing mathematical papers. The author analyses here the rather small output of research in mathematics in that time in Portugal. His points of interest are mainly the statistical and organizational aspects. He lists the rather few authors of such papers together with the main areas these papers belong to. For only some very few cases he gives some indication of the results presented in those papers.
