This paper give simple descriptions of the outer automorphism of \(S_6\), the symmetric group of degree \(6\). These descriptions are used to construct the \(5\)-dimensional irreducible representations of \(S_5\) and \(S_6\), i.e. the standard representations and the outer automorphism representations. Then the above descriptions and representations are applied in an elegant way to study the invariant theory of the space of sixed ordered points in \(\mathbb{P}^n\), i.e. the space \((\mathbb{P}^n)^6//PGL(n+1)\) where \(1 \leq n \leq 3\).
