Selfdual locally finite graded Hopf algebras were introduced by \textit{H.-L. Huang, L. Li} and \textit{Y. Ye} [Commun. Algebra 33, No. 12, 4505-4514 (2005; Zbl 1087.16025)]. The aim of this paper is to generalize results about selfdual locally finite graded Hopf algebras and related topics to the context of weak Hopf algebras. By a weak Hopf algebras, the authors mean a bialgebra with an antipode \(T\) satisfying \(\text{id}*T*\text{id}=\text{id}\) and \(T*\text{id}*T=T\). It should be remarked that a different notion of weak Hopf algebra appears in the literature, see for example \textit{G. Böhm, F. Nill} and \textit{K. Szlachányi} [J. Algebra 221, No. 2, 385-438 (1999; Zbl 0949.16037)].
