The problem of tumor growth and its monitoring ranging from the simple model for the radially symmetric to the more complex case being the radially non-symmetric one is studied. The killing rate of the cancer cells is dependent on the concentration of the cells. A number of invariant reductions whose further analysis leads to exact solutions are obtained in terms of special functions like Bessel functions, while conservation laws for the model are also investigated. Finally, the authors determine the conserved flows of the model using the notion of partial Lagrangians.
