The authors discuss the parallel multisplitting nonstationary iterative Model A and Models 1--2 introduced by \textit{R. Bru, L. Elsner} and \textit{M. Neumann} [Linear Algebra Appl. 103, 175--192 (1988; Zbl 0645.65018)], and \textit{J.-J. Climent} and \textit{C. Perea} [Appl. Math. Comput. 148, No.~2, 497--517 (2004; Zbl 1046.65019)], respectively. Using nonnegative splitting theory, the authors present some new comparison theorems between two general parallel multisplittings of Model A and Models 1-2 when the coefficient matrix is a monotone matrix. In particular, they establish some new sufficient conditions for strict inequalities in comparisons of the spectral radii of different iteration matrices.
