Index formulas for countably \(k\)-set contractive operators (Q2378837): Difference between revisions

This paper considers countably \(k\)-set contractive bounded linear operators in real Banach spaces and, by applying a degree theory developed by M.\,Väth, proves an index formula for the fixed points of such operators that extends previously known results. As an application, an index formula for a class of differentiable operators is obtained.
