The representation of sums in terms of integrals allows one to estimate bounds on the sums in cases they cannot be written in closed form. The harmonic number identities have been studied through the computer algebra package \texttt{Mathematica} especially by \textit{P. Paule} and \textit{C. Schneider} [Adv. Appl. Math. 31, No. 2, 359--378 (2003; Zbl 1039.11007)]. The derivative operators of binomial coefficients reduce the harmonic number identities to hypergeometric problems as well illustrated by \textit{G. E. Andrews} and \textit{K. Uchimura} [Util. Math. 28, 265--269 (1985; Zbl 0595.33005)] and by \textit{W. Chu} and \textit{L. De Donno} [Adv. Appl. Math. 34, No. 1, 123--137 (2005; Zbl 1062.05017)]. \textit{A. Sofo} [J. Integer Seq. 9, No. 4, Article 06.4.5, 13 p. (2006; Zbl 1108.11021)], [Computational techniques for the summation of series. New York, NY: Kluwer Academic/ Plenum Publishers. (2003; Zbl 1059.65002)] has already provided the integral representation of sums of reciprocal of single and double binomial coefficients widely used in this paper. Here the author applies the method of integral representation for binomial sums and in some cases he expresses them in closed form; in other cases he obtains estimates of the series from the integral representation. A. Sofo also extends the range of identities of finite sums with harmonic numbers \(H_ n=\sum^{n}_{k=1}1/k\) through a detailed procedure that can be applied to many other identities depending on the parameter values chosen. Although some results coincide with the solutions found by \textit{J. L. Díaz-Barrero, J. Gibergans-Báguena} and \textit{P. G. Popescu} [Appl. Anal. Discrete Math. 1, No. 2, 397--402 (2007; Zbl 1220.11024)] their respective techniques are completely different. This article seems a natural addendum to a previous work by \textit{A. Sofo} [Proyecciones 28, No. 1, 35--45 (2009; Zbl 1220.11026)] where the author investigated the summation of the ratio of products of combinatorial coefficients by expressing the sums in terms of \(\zeta(2)\) and \(\zeta(3)\), and it is perfectly complementary to a contemporary article by \textit{A. Sofo} and \textit{H. M. Srivastava} [Ramanujan J. 25, No. 1, 93--113 (2011; Zbl 1234.11022)] where the authors develop integral and closed-form representations of sums with products of harmonic numbers and binomial coefficients in terms of \textit{polygamma functions} in order to extend some results of Euler related sums.
