The authors continue their study [Osaka J. Math. 40, No. 1, 235--244 (2003; Zbl 1046.11052)] of continued fraction expansions and in particular, Denjoy's canonical continued fraction expansion and its associated dynamical system \(( [0,\infty), \mathcal{B}, \mu, T_d)\). Various properties are considered, including using the Perron Frobenius operator of \(T_d\) to study the asymptotic behavior of \(m(T_d^{-n}A)\) where \(m<<\mu\) and the natural extension of \(( [0,\infty), \mathcal{B}, \mu, T_d)\).
