Cyclic codes of length \(p^k\) over the Galois ring \(GR(p^2,m)\) are ideals of the ring \(GR(p^2,m)[u]/\langle u^{p^k}-1\rangle\). Self-dual ideals of this ring were classified by \textit{H. M. Kiah, K. H. Leung} and \textit{S. Ling} [Finite Fields Appl. 14, No. 3, 834--846 (2008; Zbl 1175.94124)]. Here the authors correct a mistake in the above article, giving a classification of these self-dual codes.
