Since the interpolation property has simplified the representations, many works contributed to interpolating and symmetric scaling vectors. This paper introduces an algorithm for the construction of compactly supported interpolating scaling vectors. Duals and multiwavelets are also given; in addition, two examples are exhibited to explain the theory. Note that the symmetry in multivariate cases is much more complicated than that of the univariate. Then the author obtains the symmetric property of scaling vectors by using the symmetry groups.
