Let \(J\) denote the \(n\times n\) matrix with ones along the main antidiagonal and zeros elsewhere. A complex \(n\times n\) matrix \(A\) is centrohermitian (respectively perhermitian, persymmetric) if \(JAJ=\bar{A}\) (respectively \(A^*\), \(A^T\)). The prefix ``skew'' means that the right-hand side is minus-signed. Assume that \(A\) is (skew)centrohermitian, (skew)perhermitian or persymmetric. The author presents for \(A\) spectral inclusion sets of Geršgorin type. For example, he proves that if \(A=(a_{ij})\) is centrohermitian, then its spectrum is contained in \[ \bigcup_{i=1}^n\big\{z: \big|(z-a_{ii})(z-\bar{a}_{ii})- |a_{i,n-i+1}|^2\big|\leq (|z-\bar{a}_{ii}|+|a_{i,n-i+1}|)R''_{i,n-i+1}\big\} \] if \(n\) is even. Here \[ R''_{ij}=\sum_{k=1}^n|a_{ik}|-|a_{ij}|\qquad (i\neq j). \] He also gives nonsingularity conditions associated with these sets. In addition, he presents for \(A\) spectral inclusion sets of Brauer type. Also matrices of other kinds of symmetries can be studied by similar techniques.
