A famous theorem of N. Itô states that every group \(G=AB\), which is the product of two Abelian subgroups \(A\) and \(B\), is metabelian. Moreover, \textit{H. Heineken} and \textit{J. C. Lennox} [Arch. Math. 41, 498-501 (1983; Zbl 0509.20017)] have proved that if a group \(G=A_1\cdots A_k\) is factorized by finitely many pairwise permutable finitely generated Abelian subgroups \(A_1,\ldots,A_k\), then \(G\) is polycyclic. In the paper under review the author provides some more information on this type of problems. In particular, he shows that if a group \(G=A_1A_2A_3\) is the product of three pairwise permutable Abelian subgroups \(A_1,A_2,A_3\) and the product \(A_1A_2\) is nilpotent, then \(G\) is soluble. Moreover, if the three subgroups \(A_1A_2\), \(A_1A_3\) and \(A_2A_3\) are nilpotent, then \(G\) itself is nilpotent.
