The authors consider a special class of nonlinear evolution equations connected to Malik-Perona model in image analysis. More precisely they extend an existence and uniqueness result due to Wang and Zhou to a larger class of equations. To prove such a result they use functional analysis tools such as the biting lemma and its generalization in this specific context.
