The author uses various methods for computing of certain infinite series of the form \(\sum f(n)n^k\) for various real values of \(k\). The author studies series of the form \(\sum a^n n^k/n!\). A method for the computation of such infinite series via an application of Taylor series is given. Generalizations to the Bell numbers and polynomials are given too.
