As outlined in Section 1, after a brief self-contained introduction of the symplectic Dirac operators in the setting of (finite dimensional) symmetric symplectic spaces, the authors describe a splitting of the symplectic spinor bundle into subbundles of finite rank and apply the Frobenius reciprocity to decompose the corresponding section spaces in the special case of Hermitian symmetric spaces. Then, they show how the symplectic Dirac operators built with the respect to the canonical Hermitian connection behave in relation to the above decompositions. In this manner syplectic Dirac operators on Hermitian symmetric spaces can be handled as operator families in a more comfortable way than with earlier techniques. As an illustrating example, the paper is closed with a detailed study of the syplectic Dirac operators on the complex projective line \({\mathbb C} P^1 = \text{SU}(2)/\text{U}(1)\).
